The mission of the ELCA Outreach Center is to Share God’s Love by addressing the needs of children, youth, and adults through programs and services that encourage them to become self-sufficient, caring and participating members of the community.
Grace Welcome Center provides hope to the Uptown and Brass neighborhoods of Kenosha. Located in Grace Lutheran Church, the Welcome Center began with a vision to offer food and love to its guests. the Welcome Center provides showers and hot breakfasts twice a week, operates one of the largest food pantries in Kenosha, and supplies infant products through the Infant Moses Project. Spirit Alive! supports Grace with volunteers, financial and food donations. On the fourth Sunday of the month, parishioners collect food for the food pantry. On the fourth Thursday of the month, parishioners prepare and serve breakfast at the Welcome Center.
