Spirit Alive Nursery

Children from 6 weeks to 4 years old are welcome to spend time in the Nursery during worship. You may register your child at church on Sundays. We welcome helpers in the nursery! If you are interested in assisting, please contact the office.

Children’s Christian Education (CCE)/Sunday School

All Pre-K to 5th graders are invited to join as we focus faith in a way that connects at their level. The CCE program is a parent cooperative, and its success depends on everyone's participation. We recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children. Therefore, we invite parents to share their insights and talents in the classroom.

Our mission is to keep CCE user-friendly for all leaders who assist and to provide nurturing and loving support along the way. Feel free to contact Pastor Kevin if you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to know more about assisting with the program.

Youth Ministry

The youth of Spirit Alive and their friends always have a lot going on. All of the youth activities are an open invitation to all youth — members and non-members alike. The youth are ALWAYS bringing friends.

The goal for all ministry, including Youth Ministry, is faith formation. Part of nurturing faith to grow is accomplished by making youth activities safe for kids — safe to be themselves, safe to share their trials and struggles, safe to vent about life.

Most youth today have so much going on — school, activities, family. Youth activities shouldn’t be just “one more thing” that they feel like they have to do. So every effort is made to create a safe environment for kids that is filled with faith, trust, and a sense of belonging.

It’s that sense of belonging that helps kids to live what they learn during youth activities. Sure, we talk about Jesus, use the Bible to teach, but to live what they learn, that sense of community and belonging is key. Feel free to have your kids (and you!) join in for any one…or all…of our youth activities!

The Youth Group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at church along with St. Paul youth. This group does not meet during the summer months.

Confirmation

All High School students are invited to participate in confirmation classes. We meet on Sundays after worship around 12:15 p.m. Together, we will make lunch and spend the afternoon together, sharing in God’s love. Confirmation classes are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Confirmation classes do not meet over the summer months.
