Have you ever wondered:

Why do we do ____ in worship?

What am I supposed to get out of _____?

What odd Christian mumbo jumbo is ____?

Our Lenten study will shed light on the whys and wonderings we have about Lutheran worship, through the lens of how worship helps re-orient our lives.

Lent is a season set aside for repentance (turning, or taking on a new perspective). Worship guides us through this turning weekly, helping us orient our lives towards God and neighbor.

During this season, Pr. Wesley will lead weekly sessions on a different ritual or movement in worship: Imposition of Ashes, Gathering, Word, Meal, Sending, and Passion Sunday. Each week will include a brief Bible study, some historical/theological background, and space for personal reflection.
